Restoring Lives in the Caribbean - Video Series

In June 2026, I traveled to Dominica to document a mission trip with Restore Caribbean Lives, an organization dedicated to rebuilding homes and supporting communities affected by past hurricanes.

My role was to capture the people, stories, and work behind the organization’s efforts. I filmed the construction of new homes and interviewed staff, residents, and community members about the impact of the organization’s work.

A significant part of the project took place at Grotto Home, a shelter supporting residents with disabilities. I documented the renovation and expansion of the facility, including the construction of a new office building, installation of solar power, and addition of a chicken coop to help support the home’s residents.

From production through post, I handled the project independently—filming interviews and documentary footage, editing the final video content, and preparing the footage for use across the Restore Caribbean Lives website and digital platforms.
